I think the blue of the ocean in the color picture is lovely, but it distracts from what should be the center of attention. I think it is the blue sky of the original photograph that transforms the picture from an excellent photograph to a work of art.
I like the black & white the best! I am so happy that you won, I have always loved the photo, and when I was at the beach with my grandkids last summer had them face the ocean to copy your pose....they all thought I was nuts, but that's not unusual! I know I've been "absent" lately, but have been keeping up with you via your blog. We'll talk soon! Vicki

It is so hard to choose between the 2, they are both brilliant - I just love the blue of the ocean on the colour one - they are beautiful.

Definitely the black and white. I like the color version too, but the meaning comes through better with the black and white with blue accents.
