You've Got A Friend In Me
Kristi got Jack a Woody doll for Christmas. He totally LOVES this thing. Who knew? I can tell Jack loves his new friend because when he sees Woody, he gets the biggest smile. It just never occurred to me that Jack would ever be attached to a doll. I thought it would be appropriate if Jack and his friend had something in common, so Woody got a trach. Jack, again, loves it!
Eric ... not so much so. His comment when he saw the new and improved Woody ~
"Ewwww, I don't like neck injuries. Take that thing off, it creeps me out!"
Hopefully, he's doesn't feel the same way about his brother!

I love the trached Woody! and glad Jack does too :D
So awesome!
Now how did you get a hold of such a tiny trach?
that is so great! my daughter has becki - who is barbie's friend in a wheelchair.
I love this Woody! We had some dolls with g-tubes sewn into them when my son was younger. Other kids who came over to play loved checking them out.
Jenny - it's a regular size trach (5.5) that pretty much wraps completely around Woody's neck! There is very little trach tie used. :)
That's great that Jack loves it so much! It makes me smile thinking of it.
Ainsley has an anatomically correct baby doll that is trached and has a g-tube. I drilled holes in it. One day I'm going to have to post instructions on our blog.
Pretty clever. I have some trached teddy bears. Anything that brings a smile to Jack is good.

Freaking fantastic!
I'm sorry to hear about Jack's fracture. Bugger.
I love Woody. I think he looks better with a trach. :)
