Hope is the thing that is willing to take a chance on the future. Hope is the capacity to see something on the horizon that we are willing to move toward. If our hope gets us from today to tomorrow, and in that new day we are ready or able to deal with something we thought we couldn’t face, then hope has done its job. There is a worse thing than false hope. It is no hope.
Jack hasn't had his hair cut since March. His personal hairstylist moved to Maryland and we haven't found a replacement yet. It looks like we are going to have to break down and take him into a salon. There is a new Barbershop by our house - I think it's time to venture out.

Yes, he definitely needs a haircut - though you could grow it long and Jack could be like a rockstar ;) There's a boy at Sam's school who has shoulder length wavy blonde hair and he looks really good with it. If you do venture into the salon - good luck! Sam hates getting his hair cut, but we are due a visit too.
Haircut? I think he is cute as a button a little shaggy, but I'm sure it bothers him. Nathan always complains about his hair tickling his trach ties when it gets too long...
