Happy Birthday Mary

Happy 17th Birthday to my sweet Mary!

 In California Adventure/Disneyland

Mary commented to me a couple of months ago that I never blog about her -- only Jack, Eric and Hilary (she's my only kid who regularly reads my blog). There is so much I can share about Mary and what a remarkable person she is.  One of these days, I will write an "All About Mary" post.  Stay tuned ...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wish I could say my week of R&R has been just that, however, that's not been the case because Jack is still sick and has been giving Mark a run for his money.  I'm furious with my nursing agency right now (so much so that it's 2am and I can't sleep because I'm still fuming).  Apparently, they think because I'm out of town, they have permission to call Jack's doctor regarding him.  (As far as I know, no one actually made the call, they just discussed it).  I made it very clear that I make the call as to when Jack's doctors are called and then I make the call.  I've got a lot to say on this subject too, but it's probably not a good idea to write it all out when I'm angry.  So .... stay tuned for that too! :)
Oh happy day!
Happy Birthday Mary!! I hope you are having a great time at Disney with your mom!
Ann, I am sorry Jack is still sick and you are not able to rest and relax like you so deserve. I hope you are still able to cherish this time despite all that is going on at home. Hugs...
I can't wait to hear all about Mary. Doesn't she get in to Disney free on her birthday? I love the picture of the two of you.
Our nursing agency couldn't understand why we weren't happy that the head of the agency regularly discussed Ben with his cardiologist (whom we'd fired!) at their kids'soccer games.
Those gosh durn love/hate relationships with the ones we do not choose.
Wish I had a solution for you.
That's funny because you look so relaxed in that picture that I had to do a double-take and make sure that wasn't a beer you were drinking. Must have been taken before you got the phonecall. Ha ha. I wish you could just relax without there being some issue to pop up. Try not to let it ruin your trip. And I'm looking forward to the all about Mary post.
Happy birthday Mary! Ann, it breaks my heart that this kind of crap is happening while you are on vacation. You are literally within hugging distance! I hope things settle down a little and you can enjoy the rest of your all-about-Mary-not-gonna-visit-Sarah-California-trip. :)
First Happy Birthday Mary!
Second, I'd be mad as well. Do they not think your husband is able to make the call in your absence? Why didn't they call you first?
Sorry your having to deal with them and a sick little boy. Hope he's fully recovered soon.
Actually Dana, my husband wouldn't be able to make the call :) I was in touch with Jack's nurse and I could (and did) make the call. The problem was the nursing supervisor stopped by (unannounced --- completely against my rules) and she freaked out because Jack was sick. Drives me nuts that these people are in my life at all!
