The Good Times

Lest I gave the impression that being a SN parent "sucks" all the time, I thought I'd share some of the good times.  The wonderful doctors, nurses and therapists who have shared this journey, the amazing friendships I've made with my fellow trach moms and the good times celebrating birthdays and family.  There is much good, as I so clearly reminded myself in putting together this montage.

Thank you for all your supportive comments to my last post.  This is definitely a road that must be traveled together - with friends who truly understand.

Oh Ann you didn't have to make a montage for us to know that. But it WAS fun to see Jack over the years. There are SO many people who care about him and your family!

It is so true that when you dig yourself out of the trenches, this life has a lot of good things about it. Thanks for the reminder...I needed it!

Thinking of you Ann, I just don't have the words to convey my thoughts right now. We all just have to make our own way on these unique journeys and hold each other up along the way. People handle it all different ways and those ways can change. I don't consider myself much of an advocate, we just try to get through it without it completely overtaking all our goals. Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't. Sometimes the circumstances are too overwhelming to make a plan, you just live it. You have done a hell of a great job handling it all. Jack is happy and Hillary is still making her way. Thanks for sharing the good times. We can vent about the frustrations without saying we want the cup taken away. We know what you mean. Hugs!
