Okay - here is a better comparison where I can now see how they look somewhat alike. Eric's face is fuller in this picture. I didn't want you all to think that I didn't believe you when you said they look alike. :)

(click on picture for larger view)Several people commented that Jack and Eric are starting to look more alike. Above is a picture of both boys at 7 years old. What do you think? (I'm not really seeing it). Jack definitely has the better head of hair!
To answer Susan's question - no, Eric doesn't go to a private school. He is actually my first kid in public grade school (the girls went to Catholic grade school). Eric is in our school district's gifted program. It's a self-contained class - which I really like. So far, I've been happy with the program.
Hope you all have a great weekend. Eric participates in his first chess tournament tomorrow. Should be fun (and if you believe that, I've got some ocean-front property in Arizona I can sell you).

I saw it more in the video than in these pictures. I think it depends on the angle. I think all it is is that Eric is growing up.
That makes a lot more sense knowing he's in the gifted program. It seems great. If public school meets your needs I think that's the way to go. It does for us. Adrian loves chess too. It totally surprised me. But no tournaments for us. A most impressive young man you have there.
I don't see the resemblance in the picture you just posted. But I do see Jack in the first picture of Eric doing his presentation. Enjoy chess!!! :-)
Well I think that Eric right now looks like Jack, not really in his younger pics. I have to admit I thought that he looked just like Jack in that video!!!!

It's funny you posted this because w/the recent Eric pictures I've thought how much they resemble each other! If you are looking for it you can't see it, but there is something about those eyes that shout, "Bros!"

What I see is 2 good looking lads. I can understand peoples refernces to the video, I think it's because Eric is growing up more. Whatever, they are both gorgeous. Sucks about the chess though..
