and let me just add . . .

I'm home for an hour and I start the first of about 5 loads of laundry that need to be done and the washing machine sounds like it's ready to die any minute (I discover the wash cycle doesn't work). Mark runs out to Lowe's to purchase a new washing machine before the store closes for the night because we cannot survive without a washing machine. Cha Ching!

Mark then goes to pick Mary up from dance and he lets her get in some driving practice (in my car). I'm sitting at the computer when I hear this screeching crash. Mary was turning into our driveway and (apparently) hit the gas instead of the brake and hits our van parked in the driveway with MY car. We now need body work on TWO cars with TWO deductibles. Cha Ching! Cha Ching!

This week can only get better, right?

LOL! OK, not funny but you made me laugh you make it sound like just another day in the life. I am so glad you are home and safe. I would have loved to have seen your face when you heard the crash. Look on the bright side at least both cars belong to you and not someone else plu, Now Mary is forever in your debt :-)
Poor Mary, give her a hug from me and tell her I still love her and she is always welcome to come live at my house.

There are no words.....we can only laugh about it because it doesn't involve us (sorry). When it rains it pours, huh? I hope you got to take the day off today..(although I know you didn't).
Glad you all made it home safe in (barely) one piece.

It just never stops does it? I have started referring to it as "my black cloud" which just keeps following me even when I try my best to elude it! Always remember God doesn’t give you more than you can handle…..yeah right! God doesn’t give you more than you can handle with a bottle of wine in your hand – no need for a glass! Anyway, be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home……

Glad you made it home ok and thanks for taking the time to share your pictures and thoughts on your trip. I'm sorry about the cars, that is no fun. Hope Mary wasn't too shaken up.

That's okay, you've got nothing but money to burn, right? I hope you get an unexpected windfall of money to make up for it.

I love the comment about the bottle of wine in hand - no need for a glass.
